The Noobs choice- What was ure 1st Char?
After making a new Char (monk/war) i realised that most of the people in Pre-searing are either rangers or necros. I am not an enemy of wither of these as my Pvp slot usually is a necro and i have a PvE ranger but I just wanted to know:
What was your first Char? Mine was a Ranger called Eothrid the Ranger second was a monk called Emelynn the monk pls fll me in. |

My very first toon was a N/W. I thought a "death knight" type character would be cool. Needless to say after getting slaughtered in melee I got rather frustrated with the idea and deleted the toon. Now that I know more about the game I know what I was doing wrong, but at the time it was very frustrating.

I chose R/Mo, too. I liked both the healing capabilities and the fact that I could shoot people from far away WHILE healing. He's still a R/Mo.

I messed about in Pre Searing for a little while trying a couple of diff professions when the game first came out but eventually chose the one in my Avatar, which I consider my first proper character. Not had any regrets, really love playing Mesmer. Have played her mostly as a pure Mesmer too.
Since ascending with her I quite a while back now I took a few other characters through the game but got bored of them and haven't bothered to ascend any of them, yet...still keep going back to my mesmer |

My first character was an E/Me which I deleted upon arriving at Druid's Overlook. I had done too many things wrong, and at the time I didn't even know how useful energy storage was.

First character is Ondo Calaelen W/Mo. I now have a Female W/Mo that I hope will replace Ondo one day. (The females look allot better when you play the game for hour's on end) I also have two others. One a Necro/Mo and the other a R/W. I think the N/Mo will get deleted and I will go for a N/R Nuker, as I had it before and it was a very good character to use but accidentally got deleted.

My first character was/is a Warrior/Monk... I got the game the day it came out. I didn't play any betas or anything and i had just recently heard about the game. I chose warrior because i like to melee enemies and when pressed to choose a secondary i went with monk because i liked being able to heal myself to take a little pressure off of monks. I've never gone into any fight thinking i can not die. I attack whatever target is called and i follow whoever is leading. If i see an enemy run towards and start attacking the monk or another caster i go back and try to get the enemies attention off of him/her. If i ever died i died because it was my fault, not of anyone else. I sit patiently for anyone to revive me and then heal up and get back into battle. Even though i do this people are still sometimes hesitant to allow me in their party because of other warrior/monks who give good w/mo's bad names... |

My very first character back in the World Preview Event was a W/R. Yes, I was very nub at the time. There was really no reasoning behind my choice because I'd never played/heard of the game before.

My 1st character was a E/mo.. made her for for the sole reason I love spellcasters and nuking.. hehe. I ended up deleting her because I was getting frustrated with things and it just didn't seem to be working out for me.. course I realize now I deleted her just b4 getting some goody-goody spells.. LOL Oh and the thing's which frustrated me then are still doing it now.. I just now know how to deal with it.. LOL
My 2nd character is a W/Mo.. got her all the way to desert missions before switching to something else. She's fun to play, altho can be annoying when dealing with certain critters.. and the bug I'm having with adren skills at times makes her completely unplayable.. so she's sitting waiting to be finished.. 3rd toon was a R/mo .. nice character, but only up to Yak's Bend. Not sure what I'll do with her.. she's nice and easy, but doesn't have the "spike" damage like my 4th toon has... 4th toon is a N/Mo. and boy do I love this toon.. lots of self-healing.. so no need to worry about Alesia healing me.. hehhee.. very nice spike damage as well (well, what I call spike ).. I can easily bring down lvl 20 critters very quickly just by myself.. hehehe.. 5th toon is a remake of my E/Mo ... now that I know more about the game I am confident that I can make it work this time.. hehehehe I'm still wondering if she'll be able to out spike my N tho.. hehehehe. probably.. altho I am wondering just how to deal with energy management.. since my N's energy management is pretty good with high soul reaping (in PvE only).. and E's spells are quite high in energy cost's.. |

My First char. was a E/Me named Sir Panzerfaust and is my favorite char., already beat the game with him. Then I created a Mo/W, got to Yaks bend and didn't really like him, so I deleted him. Now I'm working on a R/Mo and W/N.

I made a Me/E
I started with fire and dom. I moved to Dom and Inspiration. THen Dom Inpiration and Earth (for an uberwarder) Then to just Dom adn Inspiration again. Then fire and illusion. And now I'm a Me/Mo because I got bored of the elementalist secondary. |

As I recall, I created four characters right after creating my account, the first saturday night and the next three sunday morning bright and early (on a side note, buying guild wars right before the exam break probably wasn't the best career move...).My first character, El Pardak, was a Warrior, later Warrior/Monk (yes, yes... you be quiet back there). After whacking some skales with him, I made my Ranger (/Elementalist), Alyssa Kintara, and shot some skales with my bow, which was pretty cool too. But then, I decided to get some casters going, and made, rapid-like, my Elementalist (/Mesmer), Aayla Darana, and blew up some skales, and my Necromancer (/Mesmer), Kalia Dena, who I used to cruelly and unhesitatingly rob the skales of their very life force.
Now, my characters are like my childrens... I love them all, and play them all fairly often, which is why I haven't even ascended a single one of them (I know, kinda sad... but I'm really really close with Aayla). I didn't make any serious mistakes, so when I did I just redistributed attribute points and changed skills, and I can't foresee deleting any of them soon, if only because of the time I spent on them (many real-time hours each, which I just can't bare to waste). |

E/Mo (the very first beta) simply because I wanted energy to heal with and monks looked like fruitcakes with their tattoos.
Not to mention, I had awesome firepower while healing. lol My ingame name got carried over even when everything was wiped to reset the serer for release, so I just remade it. |
